The Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Hon. Jemma Nunu Kumba, extended warm congratulations to Namibia’s President-Elect, the esteemed H.E. Netumbo Nandi, on her historic victory in the recent elections in Namibia.
Nunu stated that she had met Nandi during her mission to Windhoek earlier this year and witnessed her exceptional dedication to service and leadership. She highlighted that Nandi’s transition from Vice President to President is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the Namibian people and to earning their trust as a strong woman capable of serving them.
Jemma Nunu Kumba added that with this victory, Namibia has entered a new phase. She expressed confidence that, under the new President’s vision, experience, and legacy as a veteran of liberation, the country would continue to move toward unity and prosperity.
Nunu affirmed that the Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan would stand by Namibia as it strengthens the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the two countries, particularly through parliamentary work.
The Speaker reiterated her congratulations to President-Elect Netumbo Nandi, whom she described as a strong African woman.
