Top officials from the Bank of South Sudan and the Transitional National Legislative Assembly showcased their skills in a friendly basketball match yesterday, Friday, at the Bank Sports Complex.
The match was attended by Dr. James Alic Garang, Governor of the Bank of South Sudan, Speaker of the Council of States Mr. Deng Deng, the First Deputy Speaker of the Transitional National Assembly Mr. Nathaniel Oyet, and the National Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Joseph Geng Akec, along with several senior government officials.
The mixed-gender teams, including both male and female players from the Central Bank of South Sudan and the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, demonstrated their sporting skills.
This friendly match served as preparation for the upcoming Sports Financing Conference, organized by the National Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The conference aims to attract investments and revitalize the sports sector in South Sudan by bringing together stakeholders from across the country and neighboring nations to explore innovative strategies in the field of sports.
