The President Urges Political Leaders to Promote Peace and Unity in Upper Nile

Juba: Al-Naeem Mubarak KulPresident Salva Kiir Mayardit has urged political leaders from Upper Nile State to promote peace and unity among citizens, and to avoid leaders who focus on divisive and hateful politics.

This came during discussions between the President and King Kwongo Dak Padiet, the ruler of the Chollo Kingdom, to address the situation in the Upper Nile Region.

King Dak emphasized the role of peace and unity as a fundamental basis for the development of the region.

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chol Mawut Ajongo, stated that the meeting with the President was constructive, highlighting the commitment to restoring lasting peace throughout the country.

President and the King of Chollo reiterated their commitment to work together to enhance dialogue and cooperation among all political leaders, stressing that the interests of the community must take precedence over personal or political agendas.
