Today, the Basic Level Certificate Examinations began across South Sudan. The Governor of Warrap State, H.E. Gen. Francis Marial Abur, rang the bell at a school to mark the start of the primary school leaving examinations throughout the state.
Governor of Warrap State, H.E. Gen. Francis Marial Abur, rang the bell to announce the start of the Basic Level Examinations at Emmy Robbin Primary School.
While addressing the students sitting for the exams, Governor Francis Marial stated that he rang the bell to signify the beginning of the primary school leaving examinations.

There are 503 candidates at Emmy Robbin Primary School, and he encouraged them to prove their resilience and sacrifices over the past eight years in primary school, as this marks the end of the first level in the educational ladder.
The State Minister of General Education, Hon. Awut Mayom Agok, said that the Ministry of Education and its partners will continue to implement the free education policies at the primary and secondary levels, as stipulated in the country’s constitution. Minister Agok mentioned that the number of primary school candidates sitting for the exams this year is 8,002 across Warrap State, with 99 examination centers.
She urged the students to maintain a spirit of resilience and patience, and to cooperate with teachers and invigilators for a peaceful examination.
