The Council of Ministers of the Ruweng Administrative Area discussed important issues for the development of the region despite the economic conditions the country is facing.
The meeting, which reviewed critical matters presented by the relevant ministries, emphasized the necessity of following up on their implementation.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tiob De Monyluak De Diran, Chief of the Ruweng Administrative Area.

He reviewed a request submitted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Facilities to establish a department within the ministry dedicated to aviation, which would oversee this vital means of transport, the only connection between the administrative area and the capital of South Sudan.
Tiob also examined a strategy to enhance the education of civil service employees.
According to the Media Unit of Ruweng Administrative Area, the Council of Ministers, in its meeting, discussed ways to address early marriage and how to protect children’s rights, which are often violated due to the customs and traditions of the area’s residents.
