For his part, the Vice President congratulated the minister on earning the trust of the President of the Republic, H.E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, and wished him success in carrying out his responsibilities. He also reaffirmed the Infrastructure Cluster’s support for the ministry’s efforts to improve the national transport network.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Vice President issued a directive to review the master plan for Juba International Airport and work toward its development in line with international standards, describing it as the country’s air gateway and one of its most strategic facilities.
