Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Consultative Meeting with Ministry Staff to Discuss Strategic Direction and Enhance Diplomatic Performance

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, Ambassador Monday Semaya K. Kumba, convened a broad consultative meeting on Friday with the ministry’s staff to discuss key updates on ongoing initiatives and the ministry’s strategic direction in the coming period.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Ambassador Akuei Bona Malwal, Undersecretary Ambassador Agnes Adlino Arifa Aswaha, along with Directors General, ambassadors, diplomatic officers, and administrative staff at the ministry headquarters.

In his address, Minister Semaya expressed his deep appreciation for the commitment and professionalism of the ministry’s staff, praising their crucial role in supporting and implementing the ministry’s diplomatic missions and activities with high efficiency.

He also provided a detailed briefing on his recent foreign visits, highlighting the outcomes of meetings and consultations held with various international partners, all aimed at strengthening South Sudan’s bilateral and multilateral relations.

Concluding the meeting, Minister Semaya stressed the importance of teamwork and internal coordination, emphasizing that collaboration across all levels of the ministry is essential for effectively implementing South Sudan’s foreign policy and enhancing the country’s presence and influence on the international stage.
