Presidential Envoy Adut Salva Kiir Meets Central Equatoria Governor to Discuss Areas of Cooperation

The Presidential Envoy on Special Programs for the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Hon. Adut Salva Kiir, paid a courtesy visit on Monday to H.E. Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, Governor of Central Equatoria State, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between national and state institutions.

During the meeting, held at the State Secretariat in Juba, the Presidential Envoy and Governor Mujung discussed areas of mutual cooperation aimed at supporting the implementation of national priority programs through enhanced coordination and collaboration between her office and the state government.

Governor Mujung warmly congratulated Hon. Adut on her recent appointment, describing it as a positive step towards inclusive national development. He reaffirmed his full commitment to supporting her efforts, offering guidance and coordination to ensure the success of her mandate.

The visit marked the beginning of what both parties described as a “strategic and strong” working relationship, aimed at addressing national priorities through joint and coordinated efforts across levels of governance.
