Majak Ajuang Advances to Third Round of the Cup via Penalty Shootout

Juba: Al-Wadi

Majak Ajuang has advanced to the third round of the South Sudan National Cup after defeating Gold Star Rumbek in a penalty shootout, winning 3-1. The match had ended in a 1-1 draw during regular time as part of the second round of the tournament held at Freedom Square in Rumbek.

Gold Star Rumbek will now face Al-A’mal Al-Hurra of Kuajok to determine the third team that will join Aweil United and Majak Auuang in the final round of the championship in Juba.

Koryom 2-0 Nile City

Koryom Bor secured an important victory over Nile City Yambio with a 2-0 win in the second round of the South Sudan National Cup.

With this win, Koryom joins Jamus Juba and Al-Merrikh Bentiu in the final round of the tournament, which will be held in Juba.
