Saint Mary Overcomes Calvanic to Advance to the First Round of the Cup

Saint Mary Turkeka secured a crucial and valuable victory, defeating Galvanic Nimule 3-0 in the second leg of the preliminary round of the South Sudan National Cup. The match took place yesterday afternoon at Bullock Stadium.

The team had previously suffered a 2-3 defeat against Galvanic in the first leg, which was held at Juba National Stadium.

With this result, Saint Mary sets up a clash with last season’s champions, Jamus, in the first round of the tournament.

The first-leg match of the first round is scheduled for March 31, while the second leg will take place on April 4.

Later today, Jau City will face Nikola Mundri at Bullock Stadium in the second leg of their preliminary round tie.
