As part of strengthening the relationship between South Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, the Madhol Field Hospital was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mondai Samaya Kumba, along with the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Shakhbout Al Nahyan, and the Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal, in the presence of senior government officials from both countries.
This field hospital is the result of collaborative efforts between the government of South Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, and it stands as a generous gift from the UAE. The facility is aimed at providing medical services to a large segment of the region’s population, marking an important step in enhancing healthcare services in the country.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mondai Semaya Kumba, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services, stating that this remains a top priority. He expressed his gratitude to the UAE for their ongoing support and encouraged further foreign investment in South Sudan.
