Full Results of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Draw

The draw for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, held today, Thursday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, has placed Al Ahly of Egypt, the most decorated club in the competition’s history, against Sudan’s Al Hilal.

Al Ahly, who have won the title 12 times, including four in the last five editions, will play the first leg at home.

Esperance de Tunis, a four-time champion, will face South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundown’s, who will host the first leg on their home ground.

The draw also set up a clash between Algeria’s MC Alger and South Africa’s Orlando Pirates, while Egypt’s Pyramids FC will take on Morocco’s AS FAR.

Semi-Final Draw

The winner of the Sundown’s vs. Esperance tie will face the winner of the Al Ahly vs. Al Hilal matchup.

The other semi-final will see the winner of MC Alger vs. Orlando Pirates facing the winner of Pyramids FC vs. AS FAR.


Confederation Cup Draw

The quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup resulted in an all-Algerian encounter between CS Constantine and USM Alger. Defending champions Zamalek of Egypt will have a relatively easier challenge against South Africa’s Stellenbosch.

Meanwhile, Côte d’Ivoire’s ASEC Mimosas will face Morocco’s RS Berkane, while Egypt’s Al Masry SC will take on Tanzania’s Simba SC.

Semi-Final Draw

The winner of the ASEC Mimosas vs. RS Berkane match will face the winner of CS Constantine vs. USM Alger.

The other semi-final will pit the winner of Al Masry vs. Simba against the winner of Stellenbosch vs. Zamalek.
