Health Partners Meeting to Discuss Challenges and Updates in the Country’s Health System

The partners of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Fund, under the leadership of the Ministry of Health, held an important meeting today to discuss the activities that have been implemented and to identify the challenges faced by the project in the past period.

The UNDP wrote on its Facebook page that the meeting was a reflection on the strengths and progress made in 2024 in the fight against HIV/AIDS, as well as tuberculosis, and to discuss how to strengthen the health system in the Republic of South Sudan.

The partners agreed on strengthening cooperation links and enhancing improvements for better health outcomes this year through the Global Fund’s support for health services and the UNDP. The meeting was fruitful, gathering all relevant stakeholders involved in health policies and essential services for HIV and tuberculosis patients in South Sudan.
