Governor of Unity State Discusses Health Initiatives with MSF

The Governor of Unity State, Judge Riek Bim Top, met with the Operations Manager of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in his office to discuss the necessary steps to improve the health situation in the state’s medical centers.

The MSF official confirmed their support for the government and their commitment to providing the necessary resources in areas where they are needed across the counties of Unity State. Badshah Gul, the Operations Manager, stated that MSF is ready to continue collaborating with the state’s Ministry of Health to identify areas of cooperation and empower the ministry to fulfill its duties in serving the people of the region.

John Mut Bol, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state, explained that the commitment to providing services and improving health is a vital role for the institution and its partners.

Governor Riek Bim Top expressed his gratitude for the new developments following MSF’s return to its former offices in Bentiu, including those in the seven counties.
