Mohammed Musa Al Dhai leads Al Merriekh to sweep Olympic in the Premier League

Sudanese professional Mohammed Musa Aldhai led his team Al Merrikh Bentiu. The Sudanese professional led Al Merrikh Bentiu to a 6-1 victory over Olympic Renk in a match played yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium in the opening match of the fifth round of the league.

Victor opened the scoring for Al Merrikh in the 11th minute. Mohammed Moussa Al Dhai added the second goal in the 35th minute. The same player came back to score his second goal and his team’s third. The first half ended with Al Merriekh leading by three goals.

In the second half, Mohammed Musa Al Dhai scored his second goal and his team’s third in the 57th minute. The same player scored his third personal goal and Al Merrikh’s fourth hat-trick in the 63rd minute.

David added a fifth goal in the 67th minute and Gaitan rounded off the scoring for Al Merrikh with a sixth goal in the 75th minute.

Olympic scored a face-saving goal in the last minute of the match through an error by Al Merrikh’s defence. Al Merrikh Bentiu defeated Olympic Renk by six goals to one.

Al Merriekh increased their tally to 12 points and moved up to the top of the table temporarily. Olympic remain in the penultimate position with no points.

The fifth round of the league continues today. In the first match, Koryom Bor and Wajuma Aweil will meet at 1.30pm. In the second match, Kator and Jamus will meet in a Juba derby at 3.30pm. All matches will take place at the Juba National Stadium.
