In the first meeting after the Christmas and New Year holidays, the Head of Ruweng Administrative Area, Tiob de Monyluak de Diran, briefed government members on the strategic plans and government priorities for 2025.
The meeting discussed how to implement these priorities and explored mechanisms to improve and develop infrastructure across the administrative area.
Tiob emphasized that improving infrastructure development and maintaining roads between districts would encourage people to engage in business activities and participate effectively in agricultural activities.

Furthermore, Tiob de Monyluak de Diran also briefed the Cabinet on the resolutions of the 8th Governors’ Forum and the national government’s development plans for the country. He updated them on his report at the forum, reaffirming collective decisions, particularly regarding security and promoting a culture of peace among local communities. He highlighted the importance of removing all illegal barriers and checkpoints along roads to ensure the free movement of citizens, goods, and services to remote areas.
