• Singer thanked people who prayed for him when he was admitted to hospital weeks earlier and added that he is fine.
• “Those times evil thinks you are weak is the perfect time you have to parade your faith, Devil can’t reign.”

A Facebook post claiming that Ugandan musician Jose Chameleon, real name Joseph Mayanja, is dead is FALSE.
Social media was awash with rumors that the musician had passed on after a picture surfaced online showing him lying on a stretcher in a hospital bed.
Others said he was in the intensive care unit receiving treatment for pancreatic and liver complications.
Two days after rumors surfaced about Chameleon’s death, the same picture was posted online. The text in the latter post thanks the singer’s mother for taking care of him while he was in hospital although no mention is made of Chameleon’s health status.
However, we have now established that the musician is not dead. Chameleon posted pictures on his official social media pages hanging out with his friends after being discharged from hospital.
In the post, the singer thanked people who prayed for him when he was admitted to hospital weeks earlier and added that he is fine.
“Those times evil thinks you are weak is the perfect time you have to parade your faith, Devil can’t reign- thank you so much my brothers and sisters having a heart to pray for the needful ‘’ reads part of his post.
The Star has looked into this claim and found it to be false.
