Minister of Finance and Planning Discusses Economic Cooperation with Japanese Ambassador

The Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Marial Dongrin Ater, met with the Japanese Ambassador, Odagiri Toshio, and discussed the progress of Japanese projects implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in South Sudan.
Minister Dongrin praised the quality of Japanese projects such as the Juba Freedom Bridge, the Juba Water Management System, Juba River Port, and numerous institutional capacity development projects spearheaded by the Government of Japan through JICA.


The Minister extended his gratitude to the people and government of Japan for their continuous support to the people of South Sudan by providing essential services at both developmental and humanitarian levels during times of critical need.
He assured the Japanese Ambassador of the South Sudanese government’s commitment to facilitating a conducive environment to enable the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to effectively carry out its activities in South Sudan.
