First Vice President Discusses Bilateral Relations with UK Ambassador

The First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, met today in his office with His Majesty’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Guy Warrington, to discuss key aspects of bilateral relations between Juba and London.

The meeting focused on several important topics, including the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement, the current security situation in Jonglei State, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between South Sudan and the United Kingdom.

Following the meeting, Ambassador Warrington addressed the media and reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the people of South Sudan. He also highlighted the continuation of British assistance in vital areas such as education, health, humanitarian aid, and peacebuilding efforts.
