The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and CARE Organize an Agricultural Exhibition in Torit

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environment of Eastern Equatoria State, in partnership with CARE South Sudan and other local community partners, organized an agricultural exhibition in Torit under the (FEED and RALP) project.

The project, which focuses on food security and livelihoods improvement, aims to strengthen market linkages and celebrate the transformative power of local agriculture in South Sudan under the slogan: “Our Local Food, Our Health, Our Wealth, Our Life.”

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry thanked the donors GAC and FAO for their dedicated support and for making this impactful initiative possible.

CARE stated that the success of the project was inspired by the capabilities of women who embraced the initiatives, providing their families with good opportunities for growth and hope.

Indeed, if everyone shares ideas and efforts, we can build a healthier and more prosperous future.
