Juba Wins the National First Aid Competition of the South Sudan Red Cross

Juba: Al-Naeim Mubarak Kuol

The South Sudan Red Cross Juba branch was crowned first place in the 6th National First Aid Competition last Friday, competing against the branches from the ten states. This is their second victory, having previously won first place in 2016.

The teams demonstrated their life-saving skills through emergency operation scenarios, handling trauma injuries, and performing life-saving techniques. The Yambio branch secured second place, while Kuajok took third place.

The organization stated on its page that this competition aims to enhance the capabilities of our first responders (EAT) and serves as a testament to our commitment to prioritizing safety and emergency preparedness in order to promote community well-being.
