Launch of the Secondary School Certificate Exams Today

The Secondary School Certificate exams in South Sudan began today, Monday, December 2, 2024. A total of 50,000 students are sitting for the exams across 525 centers nationwide.

The exams will begin with Islamic and Christian Religious Education and end with Mathematics. A total of 28,551 male students and 19,993 female students are taking the exams, which will last for nine days in its various scientific and literary sections.

The Deputy Minister of General Education announced the exam schedule in a press conference held last October and confirmed that all preparations have been made.

The Ministry of General Education and Instruction revealed that 3,613 male and female students have registered for the 2024-2025 Secondary School Certificate exams, compared to the previous year.
