Federal Democratic Party Expels Chankuoth and Appoints Changson as Party Leader

The Secretary-General of the Federal Democratic Party revealed with evidence and documents the dismissal of former Secretary-General Honorable Changkuoth and the loss of his membership in the National Parliament due to illegal violations and misconduct.

This was announced during a press conference held on Saturday at the party’s headquarters in Rock City, with the attendance of party leaders, members of the Transitional National Legislative Council, and the media, to discuss the political activities within the Federal Democratic Party, which is part of the SSOA group that signed the revitalized peace agreement.

Hon. Gabriel Changson, the leader of the Federal Democratic Party and Minister of Higher Education, announced that the party would take legal action if any of its members violated the party’s constitution in order to maintain party unity.

Members of the Federal Democratic Party reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s vision and stated that Chankuoth is no longer a representative of the party in any political forum.
