The President of the Republic Forms a Committee  to investigate the Incident at General Akol Koor’s Residence

President Salva Kiir has issued a Republican order to establish a committee to investigate the recent incident at the residence of General Akol Koor, the former head of the intelligence service.
The investigation committee will be led by General James Koang Chuol Ranley and will include Major General Deng Akol, Brigadier General Mabior Deng, and Colonel Patrick Lumumba, all from the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and the National Security Service, along with representatives from the Police and Military Justice departments.
President Kiir directed the committee to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and submit a report within two weeks.
