Ministry of Health Holds National Dialogue in Juba to Review TB, HIV, and Malaria Programs and Adopt Updated National Strategic Plans

The Ministry of Health today held a national dialogue meeting in the capital, Juba, to review and discuss the findings of recent evaluations of tuberculosis (TB), HIV, and malaria control programs. The meeting was conducted in collaboration with the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) and the South Sudan AIDS Commission (SSAC).

The gathering is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination among relevant stakeholders. Participants discussed key outcomes and recommendations arising from technical reviews of the health programs, with the aim of aligning priorities among various partners in the health sector.

The meeting also seeks to promote national ownership of health programs and contribute to the development of comprehensive strategic documents that will guide future implementation activities and support upcoming funding applications.

It is expected that the meeting will endorse the updated National Strategic Plans (NSPs) for the respective health programs, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the national response to targeted diseases.
