
Juba: Alnaeim Mubarak Kuol
Vice President James Wani Igga has assured participants at the Fourth High Level Forum on Fiscal Transition and Revenue Management in Juba that the government will implement all decisions taken at the forum.
Igga explained that federalism and devolution of powers to states is the call of the people of South Sudan.
The forum concluded after three days of consultative meetings between government economic institutions conducted by the Council of States in partnership with the Ministries of Finance and Economic Planning and Petroleum with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

The forum was attended by national legislatures, ministries, state governors, senior administrators, members of the Constitutional Review Commission, academia, and civil society organizations.
Participants recommended that state governments and relevant institutions take responsibility for powers taken by the central government such as issuance of number plates, personal income tax.
The recommendations will be presented to the Council of State to become decisions implemented by the government
