Kuajok – Al-Wadi Newspaper

The town of Kuajok witnessed a daring nighttime robbery, where an unidentified thief broke into the “East Coast” petrol station and made off with a large sum estimated at 30 million South Sudanese pounds, reportedly belonging to a petroleum company operating in the area.

According to security sources speaking to local media, the thief managed to infiltrate the station building through the rooftop, after cutting through iron sheets using a ladder—at a time when the security guard was asleep.

The incident, which took place under the cover of darkness, has sparked concern among local residents, especially as no suspects have yet been apprehended. Police confirmed that investigations are underway to identify the perpetrator and recover the stolen funds.

It is worth noting that Kuajok has not witnessed a robbery of this scale in recent times, highlighting the need to strengthen security measures at commercial facilities.
