Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Head of Arab League Mission in South Sudan

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan, Ambassador Akuei Bona Malual, held a cordial meeting this morning with Ambassador Mohiedin Salim Ahmed, Head of the Arab League Mission in the country, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister praised the Arab League’s supportive role in promoting development and stability in South Sudan, expressing gratitude for the organization’s continued solidarity with the government and the people throughout various stages.

For his part, Ambassador Mohiedin extended his congratulations to Ambassador Malual on his appointment, reaffirming the Arab League’s commitment to continued collaboration with the South Sudanese government across areas of shared interest.

Both sides agreed on the importance of bolstering partnership and sustained coordination, reflecting a shared vision to achieve greater progress and development for the benefit of both the South Sudanese and Arab peoples.
