Anti-Corruption Workshop Launched in Ruweng

The Chief of Ruweng Administrative area, Mr Tiob de Moniloak de Deran, opened a two-day anti-corruption awareness workshop at the Ruweng headquarters.

The workshop was organized by the South Sudan National Anti-Corruption Commission (SSNACC) under the theme ‘Anti-Corruption is a collective responsibility’.

He described corruption as a pandemic that undermines integrity in work and the provision of services to citizens, and stressed that the fight against corruption is a collective responsibility that falls on everyone, and everyone must do their duty towards fighting corruption. Dr Samuel Goge, Deputy of the Anti-Corruption Commission, stated that the new anti-corruption amendments will pave the way for the elimination of corruption throughout the country
