Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Represents Government at Sudan Conference in London

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, Ambassador Monday Semaya K. Kumba, departed for London, United Kingdom, to participate in the Sudan Conference scheduled for April 14–15, 2025.

This high-level conference will bring together Foreign Ministers from several countries, along with representatives from regional and international organizations, to discuss the ongoing crisis in Sudan and explore avenues for cooperation aimed at achieving peace, stability, and the provision of humanitarian aid.

Minister Kumba is expected to take part in key discussions, present the Government of South Sudan’s perspective on the Sudanese conflict, and advocate for strengthened regional cooperation to address the challenges facing Sudan.

The Government of South Sudan reaffirms its continued commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region and is keen to contribute constructively to the outcomes of the London Conference on peace in Sudan.
