Deputy Minister Meets with Zimbabwean Ambassador to South Sudan

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mondy Samaya Kumba, held a productive consultative meeting with the Head of Mission of the Republic of Zimbabwe to South Sudan, Ambassador Kossam Mupezeni.

The meeting addressed issues related to bilateral cooperation in all fields. Ambassador Mondy expressed his gratitude for Zimbabwe’s contributions during the period of South Sudan’s struggle for liberation and emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the two countries.

The two officials exchanged views on potential visits between Juba and Harare, as well as many matters of mutual concern.

Ambassador Mupezeni reaffirmed his country’s commitment to deepening ties with the Republic of South Sudan and reiterated the importance of working closely together to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
