South Sudan’s Inspector General of Police Participates in Interpol Meetings in the United Kingdom

South Sudan participated in the 92nd General Assembly of Interpol, held in Glasgow, United Kingdom, with over ninety countries from around the world in attendance.
The General Assembly of Interpol is the supreme governing body, comprising representatives appointed by the governments of the member states (of international police).

South Sudan was represented at this session by the Inspector General of the South Sudan Police Service, General Em Maroul Biar Kuik.

In the opening session, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer praised the member countries for their cooperation in combating all forms of criminal activity worldwide.

Interpol President, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi, expressed his appreciation to the UK government for its commitment to combating transnational crimes. He also thanked the Executive Committee for its efforts.
