The World Health Organization, through the Emergency and Preparedness Cluster in the Republic of South Sudan, conducted its annual performance review—a crucial process aimed at evaluating the accomplishments and challenges faced by the cluster throughout 2024.
The comprehensive review included an in-depth analysis of the regional team’s strategic objectives, the effectiveness of response initiatives, and the overall impact of preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience activities on health outcomes.

Additionally, the team discussed specific challenges encountered during the year, including funding issues, and identified areas requiring improvement for future efforts.
