Malakia halt Rock City’s cup adventure

Al Malakia joined the ranks of the semi-finalists in this season’s South Sudanese Cup in Juba. After beating Rock City on penalties 4-1 in the quarterfinal match of the tournament.

The match was suspended on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall ten minutes into the first half of the match.

The match was resumed yesterday afternoon and ended in a goalless draw. The two teams went to a penalty shootout. Which resulted in a four-goal victory for Malakia.

With this result, Malakia will face Rainbow team in the second semi-final. While in the first semi-final, Munuki will take on the defending champions Jamus, in the Munuki County derby.
