Al Merrikh and Amadjang open the second round of the Cup in Abyei

Today at 3pm, Mulmul Playground will host the opening match of the second round of this season’s South Sudan Cup in Abyei, between Al Merrikh and Amadjang.

Al Merrikh qualified for this round after beating Abyei United by two goals in the first round. Amadjang advanced at the expense of Al-Mustaqbal, who were disqualified for not fulfilling the conditions of the competition.

The Nile clubs that qualified for the second round of the tournament are Abethook, Mayom Ngok, Taj Ally, Robamamir City, Achio, Mading Achwing, Black Star, Galbalasad, defending champions Abyei Super Eagle and runners-up Abyei City.

The second match of the second round of the tournament will be played tomorrow between Nile Abethook and Mayom Ngok at the Mulmul Playground.
