Ruweng: Alnaeim Mubarak Kuol
The Chief Administrator of the Ruweng Administrative Area, Tiop De Monyluak De Diran, stated that the establishment of customary courts would enable leaders to perform their duties efficiently in their counties, in accordance with the Local Government Act of 2009, which had been shelved and remained unimplemented since the formation of the Ruweng Administrative Area in 2020.

Tiop De Monyluak met with the new leaders and senior elders of local communities in Panrieng, briefing them on his administration’s efforts and plans to provide services and develop the area.
The meeting discussed issues related to the security and social conditions of the area amid the economic challenges facing the country.
The discussion also addressed cooperative relations with neighboring states and the role of the new leaders and traditional leaders in strengthening social ties and making use of the historical connections among local communities.

Tiop reassured the traditional leaders of his commitment to valuing their opinions and working with them to ensure peace, stability, and development for the people of Ruweng.
