#President Salva Kiir Mayardit has officially signed six vital bills #These bills are a significant step in the country’s ongoing reform agenda.


#The six bills assented to by the President are the Tourism Act of 2024, the Public Finance Management and Accountability Act of 2011 (Amendment 2024), the National Bureau of Statistics Act, the Truth, Reconciliation and Healing Commission Act of 2024, the Civil Aviation Authority Act of 2012 (Amendment 2024), and the Compensation and Reform Commission Act of 2024.


#The Minister of Justice, Reuben Madol Arol Kachule, who presented the bills to the President, expressed his gratitude for the smooth progress of these legislations, which came after extensive consultations with various stakeholders before they were passed by the two chambers (National Legislative Assembly and Council of States) of the country
