President Kiir Receives Comprehensive Briefing on the Situation in Pibor

President Salva Kiir Mayardit received a comprehensive briefing from the Chief Administrative the Greater Pibor, Gola Boyoi Gola, on the current situation, security challenges, flooding, and the current state of infrastructure affecting the area.
Gola provided an update on issues facing the area, such as flooding, which has caused extensive damage to road infrastructure, significantly restricting movement within the region.
Boyoi emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian aid, the rehabilitation of vital infrastructure, and enhanced security in the wake of this natural disaster.
The meeting also addressed concerns about citizen safety, particularly in Magiri area of Central Equatoria related to cattle.
The President pledged to look into the challenges raised by the Chief Administrative Area, confirming that the National Unity Government would provide the necessary support to address the crises facing the region.
Accompanying the Chief Administrative of the Greater Pibor rea, was General David Yau Yau, a member of the National Legislative Assembly representing the area, to meet with the President and present recommendations and proposals to address the issues impacting the area.
