After a three-week hiatus, the wheels of Juba’s local first division league, the Konyokonyo League, are set to start turning again on Friday afternoon. The tournament was suspended at the end of the 14th week of matches.
The Juba Local Football Association (JLFA) announced last week the scheduling of the postponed matches of the league from week four to week fourteen of the tournament.
Today, Zelzal and Alrabita will meet in a postponed match from the fourth week of the league in the afternoon at Buluk Playground.
At the top of the league table is Al Atlabara with 27 points from 12 matches. At the bottom of the standings is Al-rabita with a single point in 13th place from 9 matches.
It is noteworthy that Kator and Jamus are out of the competition as they have joined league champions Al Malakia in the South Sudan Premier League, leaving only 13 clubs active in the local first division league in Juba.
Tomorrow, Viva Star and Al Merriekh will face off in a postponed match from week four at Buluk Playground in the afternoon.
