
The Deputy Governor of Upper Nile State, Deng Joh Angok, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the security agencies and military forces in the state for their significant role in maintaining security and peace during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Angok met with the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers to convey his congratulations and appreciation for their immense efforts, vigilance, and dedication in serving security and maintaining peace for the citizens. He announced the state government’s commitment to reward the soldiers with a one-month salary bonus, emphasizing that this gesture reflects the support for the security forces who worked tirelessly to maintain order during the festive period.


Deng Joh Angok also expressed optimism that the region will witness greater security stability, noting that peace and security are essential for enhancing development and reconstruction efforts. He confirmed in his remarks to the media that the government is committed to providing an environment conducive to progress and prosperity for the people of Upper Nile State.
