Juba/ Alwadi

The local football association in Juba has rescheduled the postponed matches of the local first division league in Juba for the 204-2025 season, in addition to the full third round matches of the championship.

In a circular signed by the secretary general, the JLFA set Friday the 10th of January as the start date for the postponed matches of the first round of the championship between Zelzal and Gudele, at 3:00 pm at the Buluk Playground.

The matches will conclude on the 25th of the same month with the match between Viva Star and Munuki at Buluk Playground in the afternoon.

The tournament saw several matches postponed for various reasons. Some of the matches were played in the South Sudan local cup, as well as the finals of the local and national Super Cups. Most recently, Kator and Jamus left the league and joined the league champions Malakia Club in the South Sudan Premier League. This will force the federation to reconsider the format of the championship in general and cancel the points of these two teams in the championship.

The tournament kicked off in its first round on 9 November last year with a much between Atlabara and Gudele. With the participation of 15 clubs. While the league champions Malakia Club remained out of the competition schedule to participate in the first edition of the Premier League representing the Juba Local Football Association (JLFA).

At the top of the league table is Atlabara with 27 points. At the bottom of the standings is Al-rabita Club with a single point.
