The President of the Republic, Salva Kiir Mayardit, held talks with the King of the Shilluk Kingdom, Kuongo Dak Padiet, on a range of national issues, foremost among them the path toward stability and democratic transformation in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the Shilluk King renewed his support for the upcoming elections, expressing his backing for the state leadership\u2019s efforts to advance a peaceful democratic transition that would strengthen political stability and build confidence in the electoral process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
