If so, is South Sudan as a whole safe?\u201d<\/em>\u2014a statement rejecting the security-related justifications delaying the university\u2019s return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A protester said, <em>\u201cHow long will students have to travel far to study at a university that rightfully belongs in their own community? We want Upper Nile University back in Malakal.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another added, <em>\u201cHow can we rebuild Upper Nile State without its university? What is a home without its university?
