The exams were conducted from <strong>November 18 to 22, 2024<\/strong>, but the results were delayed for nearly five months due to <strong>lack of funding<\/strong>, preventing students from enrolling in secondary schools on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the press conference announcing the results, <strong>Minister of General Education, Kuyok Abol Kuyok<\/strong>, stated that the exams were held in <strong>1,665 schools<\/strong> across <strong>551 examination centers<\/strong> nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cA total of <strong>79,010 students<\/strong> registered for the exams, including <strong>43,266 males<\/strong> and <strong>35,740 females<\/strong>. However, only <strong>77,264 students<\/strong> actually sat for the exams (42,257 males and 35,007 females), while around <strong>1,746 students<\/strong> were absent,\u201d the Minister said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>He confirmed that <strong>73,326 students<\/strong> passed the exams, comprising <strong>40,427 males<\/strong> and <strong>32,899 females<\/strong>, resulting in an <strong>overall pass rate of 94.9%<\/strong> with an <strong>average performance score of 73.1%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister also noted that exams took place in <strong>1,814 schools<\/strong> across <strong>522 centers<\/strong>, and that <strong>3,878 students<\/strong> failed, having scored below 249 marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subject Performance:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Best performance<\/strong> was in <strong>Science and Christian Religious Education<\/strong>, with a pass rate of <strong>79.9%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Weakest performance<\/strong> was recorded in <strong>Mathematics (61%)<\/strong> and <strong>Islamic Religious Education (51%)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top Performing Schools:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>JCC Model Primary School<\/strong> ranked <strong>first nationwide<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venus Star Academic<\/strong> came in <strong>second<\/strong>.<br>Both schools are located in <strong>Central Equatoria State<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top Students:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Felix Luala Wani Job<\/strong> and <strong>Moses Jerry Asir Okaya<\/strong>, both from <strong>JCC<\/strong>, scored <strong>453 marks<\/strong>, tying for <strong>first place nationally<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gift Shanedia Remis Alowi<\/strong>, also from <strong>JCC<\/strong>, was the <strong>top-performing female student<\/strong>, scoring <strong>451 marks<\/strong>, followed closely by <strong>Sabrine Kiji Paulino Francis<\/strong>, who earned the same score.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry Instructions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Kuyok urged parents to collect <strong>official results<\/strong> from the schools where students sat for the exams or use the <strong>mobile results app<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI officially announce the release of the 2024 Primary School Certificate results. Citizens can access the official results at schools or via the digital app by dialing <strong>1138<\/strong>, followed by the candidate\u2019s seat number, and results will be sent instantly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Praise for JCC\u2019s Performance:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JCC Headmistress<\/strong>, <strong>Pasca Mora<\/strong>, attributed the school\u2019s outstanding results to the <strong>dedication and hard work of the teaching staff<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe have qualified, committed teachers. These results aren\u2019t surprising\u2014we work from <strong>6 AM to 6 PM<\/strong>. The results speak for themselves. This isn\u2019t just talk; it\u2019s the result of <strong>experience and dedication<\/strong>. And it\u2019s not the first time we\u2019ve topped the results.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>She concluded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIf we look at our records, we\u2019ve always been at the top\u2014not just this year or last year.
