The campaign aims to vaccinate <strong>over 3 million children<\/strong> between the ages of <strong>6 to 59 months<\/strong>, covering <strong>all 80 counties<\/strong> across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure the success of the campaign, <strong>national supervisors have been trained<\/strong> with the support of the <strong>World Health Organization (WHO) in South Sudan<\/strong>, <strong>Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance<\/strong>, <strong>UNICEF South Sudan<\/strong>, and other partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This campaign is designed to <strong>reach every child with life-saving vaccines<\/strong>, strengthen South Sudan\u2019s <strong>national immunization system<\/strong>, and <strong>reduce the risk of outbreaks<\/strong> of infectious diseases like measles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collective effort reflects the <strong>government\u2019s commitment<\/strong>, along with its partners, to safeguarding the health of children and building a <strong>safer, healthier future<\/strong> for the next generation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Juba: Al-Wadi Newspaper The Ministry of Health in South Sudan is preparing to launch a nationwide measles follow-up vaccination campaign, set to begin on April 24, 2025.
