The Ministry of Health is planning to develop a healthcare strategy across the country and, in collaboration with UNICEF, has decided to integrate community network initiatives into the broader Boma Health Initiative (BHI) Strategy for the planned healthcare systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support this development and strategic plan, the Ministry of Health has enlisted the expertise of “Management and Development Consulting” (M&D), which is tasked with creating a Community Network Integration Strategy for the period from 2025 to 2029. This strategy will align with the Health Sector Strategic Plan for the period 2023-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Annin Ngot Ngot, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, highlighted the primary objective of validating the community network integration strategy. She said: “This initiative aims to improve healthcare delivery and community health services in South Sudan.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Annin Ngot emphasized the need to implement programs that address all aspects of healthcare activities, stressing the importance of service delivery directly at the household level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She further stated that focusing on access to services, sustainability, and quality is crucial, which reinforces the commitment to achieving universal health coverage throughout the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
