The city of Malakal has been particularly hard-hit, accounting for the majority of the infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\" data-id=\"1848\" src=\"https:\/\/derawetmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/MOH2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1848\" srcset=\"https:\/\/derawetmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/MOH2.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/derawetmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/MOH2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/derawetmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/MOH2-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Awel emphasized to the media the need for a coordinated response from all partners and pledged continuous support for health workers on the frontlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government and health partners are working tirelessly to contain the outbreak, and several key achievements and strategies have been put in place to curb the spread.
