President Salva Kiir Mayardit has called on the Government of Western Bahr el Ghazal State to intensify efforts to promote peace, strengthen unity among communities, and improve public service delivery to enhance the livelihoods of citizens and advance development across the state.
The President made the remarks during a meeting with the Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State, Sheriff Daniel Sheriff, who briefed him on the state’s security, political, and economic situation, as well as the level of preparedness for the upcoming electoral process.
During the briefing, President Kiir was updated on the state’s security and governance developments. He emphasized the importance of sustaining peace and stability, reinforcing social cohesion, and ensuring the effective delivery of essential services to create a conducive environment for the country’s forthcoming national electoral process.
