The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Derawet Media Group, Mr. Manyjok Kong Manyjok, today received Mr. Moses Ramadan Wani, Procurement and Logistics Inspector at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Postal Services – Communications Sector, at the media institution’s headquarters in Juba. The visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordination between media institutions and government service agencies.
During the visit, Mr. Moses Ramadan Wani praised the role played by Derawet Media Group in delivering news and covering various events, commending the professionalism and high standards demonstrated by the institution in the preparation and production of news content.
Wani called for greater cooperation between media organizations and service institutions to facilitate more effective delivery of information and services to citizens. He emphasized the importance of the media as a key partner in supporting development efforts and raising public awareness.
He also expressed his commitment to maintaining communication with the institution and making future visits to exchange ideas and perspectives on issues of mutual interest, as well as explore ways of advancing media work in the public interest.
For his part, the Chairman of Derawet Media Group, Mr. Manyjok Kong Manyjok, provided a detailed overview of the institution’s media activities and highlighted the challenges faced by journalists and field staff while carrying out their professional duties.
Mr. Kong noted that the visit represented significant moral support for professionals engaged in news coverage and reflected appreciation for their efforts in serving the nation and its citizens through the objective and professional dissemination of information.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between media outlets and government institutions in order to enhance public awareness and improve the flow of information and services to citizens.
