Today, at the headquarters of the South Sudan Football Federation, the newly elected president, Francis Amin, officially assumed his duties as the new president of the federation, succeeding outgoing president Augustino Maduot, during a reception ceremony held this morning. The second vice president, Deng Abdelrahman, and the 13 elected members of the Executive Committee were also present.

In his speech at the reception, Amin expressed his gratitude to the delegates at the conference for the trust they placed in him by electing him president. He pledged to exert every effort to elevate sports in the country through a number of development projects aimed at fostering growth at all levels.
Meanwhile, Augustino Maduot thanked everyone who had supported him during his tenure as president of the federation. He expressed his eagerness to work and cooperate earnestly with the newly elected president to advance football in the country.

Francis Amin was elected as the new president of the federation for the next four years last Friday, during the fourth extraordinary electoral conference of the South Sudan Football Association. He succeeds Augustino Maduat, whose term had ended. Alongside his election, Makur Majok was elected as the first vice president, Deng Abdelrahman as the second vice president, and 13 members to the Executive Committee.
